Looking For Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to help work this summer at Buckeye Furnace.

The volunteers will assist in the Buckeye Furnace general store by greeting visitors and helping with the gift shop sales.

People are need for shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 noon to 4 p.m., during the months of  June through October.

"Anyone who wants to help is welcome," says Mike Stroth, president of the Friends of Buckeye Furnace. No experience is necessary, just a desire to help support the Friends group.

Pictured are volunteers Alana and Dick Billman, who helped in the gift shoppe  during last year's Fall Festival. To volunteer this summer, please call Mike Stroth (286-4371 after 6 p.m.) or Carl Sears (286-2758).

The Buckeye Furnace park opens each year on Memorial Day weekend.
