BUCKEYE FURNACE PHOTO CONTEST

The Friends of Buckeye Furnace are announcing that they will be having a Four Seasons Photo Contest beginning with the “Fall Season” event from October 1, 2011 thru November 15, 2011.
The photos submitted must be taken on either or both of the two historic sites that the Friends of Buckeye Furnace manages, The Buckeye Furnace State Memorial and The Leo Petroglyphs State Memorial.
The photos can be posted on our facebook page notating that they are for the contest, also please email them to friends@buckeyefurnace.com so we can post them on our website for the folks who aren't on facebook. We will check the email daily to get the photos posted as soon as possible.
There is no entry fee and participants can submit up to five photos of each of two categories, which are Nature/Scenery and People in the Parks.
Two prizes will be given away in each category. Winners will be determined by the most “Likes” on the Buckeye Furnace Facebook page. People can use “Likes” as votes thru November 15, 2011.
People, who do not use Facebook, can also e-mail their votes to: friends@buckeyefurnace.com.
Winners will be announced November 22, 2011 on the Friends of Buckeye Furnace website and Facebook.

The “Winter Season” photo contest event will go from December 1, 2011 thru February 15, 2012. More details will be announced.
