CURRENT EVENTS: There are several events planned at Buckeye Furnace for 2010. The 2010 Fall Festival, and the 5K Run and Walk is scheduled for Saturday, October 30. Please check back here for more details as plans develop.

Santa Claus visited the children and grownups of Buckeye Furnace on December 12th, 2009. There was a very nice turnout of Santa fans. There were lots of photos with Santa who passed out traditional candy canes to all who attended. There were cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate to warm everyone up. We are hoping to make this an annual event.

The first Easter egg hunt was held at Buckeye Furnace on March 27th, 2010. It was quite the success with the Easter Bunny in attendance along with approximately 300 visitors and egg hunters. Over 2000 filled eggs were scattered throughout the grounds and just about every single one was found. We look forward to making this an annual event at the site.
